Farm Notes are written by Kristen Strom who is a city turned country girl as of June 2007. Kristen is the proud wife to her farmer husband, Grant, and mother to three farm kids. Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, she never envisioned being married to a farmer. While Farm Notes started as a way to keep friends and family updated on Kristen's life on a farm, it has since become a way to share farm and family experiences to those living in rural and urban communities.

Make Money for a Charity!
Take a look at this neat search engine I just discovered! Use GoodSearch as your search engine and make money for a charity, school, organization, etc. In addition, GoodShop.com donates part of every purchase to your favorite charity or school at no additional cost to you (more than 72,000 nonprofits are now on-board)! They offer coupons for various online purchases and will also donate a percentage of sales to your charity of choice.
It takes just a few seconds to go to www.goodshop.com, select your charity, and then click through to your favorite store and shop as usual. When you use GoodSearch.com as your search engine they will donate a penny to your cause every time you search the web. This is totally free as the money comes from advertisers. I'm using GoodSearch.com as my search engine on my computers.
Please use GoodSearch as your search engine to help out an organization in need. Better yet, spread the word and tell 10 friends about GoodShop and GoodSearch today! They've been featured in the NY Times, the Wall Street Journal, CNN, Oprah Magazine and more. I'm also going to email the Livingston County Humane Society (Dudley's home before ours) to let them know about this opportunity to receive donations!
I hope you can use this as a way to help charities in need!
